Kennedy guys - How does planchet chatter affect grade?

Many of the 04 Kennedy halves I have looked through have planchet chatter but are otherwise mark free. How is PCGS treating this? Technically it should not but in the market grading era we are in I can't help but think it does. Experiences?

No that looks like die fatigue. What I am refeing to is often seen around the edges and on the face. Sometimes you will see large marks on the coins because the strike did not abolish a mark from the planchet.
You don't hit 10,000 by keeping your mouth shut
<< <i>Is this what you're referring to ?
I don't think I have seen one in that advanced stage of "poor condition" in a mint state coin. That's kinda cool.
<< <i>They seem to be very forgiving on Ikes. But I guess that's not really what you asked about, so I probably should have kept my mouth shut. >>
NO...NO! I had the same question about a nice toned Ike.....YOU ANSWERED A QUESTION I DIDN'T EVEN ASK! Thanks!
as well. Occasionally the entire coin can be affected and very rarely an otherwise well-
struck specimen can look almost like a matte proof. Collectors and graders are far more
tolerant of this than I am generally. Since it often appears in a sort of pattern, it immitates
the worst kind of damage- - intentional. Generally die polish is well tolerated also and this
is nearly as distracting.
