Another first photo thread...

Sorry to start yet another boring first photo thread, but I just got a good digital camera ( no macro lens yet) and wanted to try an upload. I also wanted to see how the pics turn out on here. I had to make it a low quality jpeg in order for the size to be ok, so I may still need to tweek a bit.

When uploading photos, it said they were too big so I resized. Now, they may be small. Oh well. Let's see....

Please be patient with a newbie.

You will probably need to have them hosted on an outside server so you can make them nice'n'huge.

How do you post the pictures? The upload which gives a link is easy, but what about showing the pictures? Are you taking the picture from my link and hosting it then posting the URL?

I really need to look into a macro lens. The original pictures are not close up so when I have to zoom in, then try to resize, I am limited. I also have to practice at slabs. I have some great stuff in slabs but I just can't get the pictures to look as nice.

For pics, go to the message post screen and click on the little button with the painting in it. Enter the url of the image, and click on OK (or enter, whatever). It should work then....
