Remember the Pug in your prayers!

<< <i>Well - Just when I thought things were looking up, the whole thing gets turned on its ear! Today they did a heart catherization procedure where they stick a wire-camera through an artery all the way to your heart and look around to see what the hell is going on. Well in my case, the thing that's going on is that I have some major league blockage in the arteries leading in and out of the heart, so - it's going to be open heart surgery for the pug on Monday. This comes as a shock as I thought we were pretty much out of the woods. I'll be out of commission for about 6 weeks after the surgery - but thinking of how and whne that's going to be - I'll still be able to go to Pittsburgh - and with a retread ticker! So say a prayer for me and look out - we're going to need bail money! >>

For those of you who don't know Frank, he is first class! I'll be praying for a rapid recovery for "Da Pug."

Fortunately, veterinary science has advanced leaps and bounds since you were whelped, Frank!! You are in our prayers for a problem-free surgery and swift recovery. .... Of course, the nurses may need our prayers more, but that's the risk they took entering their profession! image
