Did I do ok with this Stone Mountain

The pics aren't real good, but it looks like a pretty coin and the price seems right. What do you think?

If the images are an accurate representation, I think you did a lot better than "OK". I LOVE the look of that coin!

Most in that grade have been selling for about $65 of late but it's only a few dollars.

It appears to be nice looking coin. I'd say you did well.
    All glory is fleeting.
  • Thanks for feed back. I looked at the PCGS pricing guide and didn't realize they were going for a bit less than I paid. That's not a big deal though...

Once I have it in my hands I'll give you all my impression of the coin.

    Thanks again.

Many at this grade are dipped out, ugly white POS coins. The one you just bought looks like it is very deserving of a premium. BTW, pay no heed to the PCGS price guide. It's somewhat less than accurate.

It looks very nice and the price is not that important. I often pay stupid money for coins I really like.image
I'd rather be lucky than good.
  • Ooops, double post. Hit enter after I signed in...

Anyway. Coin arrived in the mail today, and I'm a bit disapointed. The gold toning is not as pronounced as in the pics, and there is a fingerprint on the obverse. Bummer.
