Misspellings on coins

There's the 1800 "LIBEKTY" half-dime... Can you think of other examples where words were misspelled on coins?

  • There is also the CONTINENTAL CURENCY misspelling caused by a spacing problem on some of the Continental Currency patterns.

A neat little trivia aside about the Continental Currency Patterns... they were designed by Benjamin Franklin.

I've got a 1982 Lincoln cent I found in change that year which has a cool cud die break that wipes out the word TRUST from the motto so all it reads is IN GOD WE and then there is a blob. Does that count?
