I dont spend change at all it all gets wrapped and stored I cant bring myself to spend it.

I used to look at the coins right after I received them in change but the cashiers would often give me dirty looks. I guess they thought I was some cheapskate counting it so as to be sure they hadn't shorted me a cent or two.

Now I wait until I get back to the car.

I always check it...maybe not with a loupe. I save the state quarters and new nickles, and any old change...the rest gets put in a bag...sent to the bank, and turned into money to buy more coins!

I always check my change. I ahve a nice strategy for my change. I accumulate quite a bit and never spend it. I roll it as I have enough to fill a roll. Amazing that $200 can accumulate as fast as it does. It's handy when I want to buy a top of the line coin. Since I've started going with a type set slabbed this is my method and since I want some of the very best I can find of that type It's looking like I'll only be buying 2-3 coins a year. That's OK though.

I generaly give it a quick look but not as thorough as I should. FORGIVE ME!
