Coin appreciation / Vacation / Suggestions

Anyone have suggestions on where I can take my family this summer that could include some viewing of beautiful coins. My son is 10 and just starting to get into coins (has not reached full fledged obsesion like his father) and I would like to take him to see some of the best. Ana in Colorado good? I live on the west coast and would like to find a place within a few states away.

You might consider the Denver mint. Tours have to be prearranged now though.

They have only a small museum but you get a good look at the coin making facility.
