This is not spam, but I have some auctions ending tonight.. please pay close attention to the Mickey Mantle cards.. many of them are bringing significantly more than BV$..
Now, these people SURELY know what they're bidding on? Right? I've received a few questions about the cards, and I answered them accurately, and I feel as though I described them accurately.. Opinions?

I don't think you could have made your descriptions any clearer, and all of the pictures clearly show the foil stamp.
You've done all you can. Now it's caveat emptor.
Just one person's perspective ...
edited to add - I don't think you did anything formally against the eBay rules or anything ... I would just personally characterize some of the listing titles as inaccurate.
<< <i>I've gotta respectfully disagree ... having "Commemorative 1996" listed in some of the auction titles, but not the others is simply misleading. True, you were honest in the item description, and the onus should be on the bidder to carefully read it - but my gut reaction is that the auctions that don't say "1996" in the title are inaccurate. It's really no different that keyword spamming with "PSA" when you are selling a graded card from another less-reputable company.

no prob.. thanks for the replies.. this was also kind of an experiment on my part, just to see if people would pay attention to the titles or not.. I certainly never figured any of the cards would reach $30-$40 though.. I cant believe that there are that many people who bid on something WITHOUT reading a description, but..

Agreed 100%. Some people bid way too quicklly ... once, I even had a buyer nearly neg me because he thought that all SP Signature base cards had autographs - and I even had a scan that clearly showed they didn't! They think they're getting a steal, bid quickly, and then afterwards realize how dumb they were ... and try to blame the seller.
"Welcome to my blocked bidder list ..."
