Going to California-Thinking about PSA

My family is going to California this weekend to see my in-laws. I was thinking about going to Newport Beach and check out PSA. Can you do this? Is it worth it? Just curious. Thanks Guys..

  • You have to call for an appointment to either pick up or drop off cards! I don't think they'll let you walk in their offices for a tour...

It's not worth it, it's a tightly secured building, and nothing really to see in the waiting room.

    I'd rather go to Disneyland!

Get a black ninja outfit. Sneek in at night and just wait for Joe in his office with a fresh cup of coffee for when he comes in first thing. Im sure he will be suprised.

Newport Beach is a nice area, so you can drive by PSA just to say you've been there, and then go hang out somewhere nearby.

Newport is a nice area, except that PSA is in Tustin, which is basically strip malls and business parks. Unplanned suburban sprawl at its worst. The PSA offices themselves consist of cubicles, hallways and a vault. There are lots of better places to spend your time.
Personally I'd head to Disneyland, Laguna Beach or Newport Beach.

  • My father in-law lives in Temecula and his house is on the side of a mountain with six acres. It's like being at club med. I usually park it next to the pool.. In fact the house is on top of the mountain they cleared to build the house, and the rest of the property goes down the hill. He put in a green with a golf hole and the bottom of the property. You can actually tee off from the back yard and hit it as hard as you can to try to get it on the green. It's a blast!! It must be around 400 yds.. It sucks getting back the balls..

If your going to Temecula you should head on over to the Pechanga Casino. Loads more fun than PSA. Also, Lake Elsinore is just down the road and maybe the Storm (AA ball) is in town and you can watch a game.

PSA is about a 1 - 1 1/2 hours (traffic on the 15, 91, 55 permitting) from Temecula and you'll probably be disappointed when you see it, cause there isn't much to see. If you do make it down to PSA, you can also swing by GAI (I believe they are in Irvine) and say Hi to everybody.

Tustin is a very nice place. The majority of it (Tustin Ranch, Cowan Heights, Lemon Heights, etc.), is some of the more beautiful parts of Orange County (excluding some of the coastal cities) , along with Anaheim Hills of course.
