Question on Auction Catalogs

Do the aution houses send these out to whomever requests them, or do you have to be some kind of member or dealer to get them ?

Do they charge for the catalogs ?

You always have the option to buy them, but you can often get them for nothing. Most places will send them for free if you can show copies of invoices showing a certain $ level of buying in the last year or 6 months. If you win something in an auction you will probably get the next one from that dealer automatically.

And if you attend the auction lot viewing in person, you can usually get one just for the asking.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

Depends on the Auction house. Most send them free to registered members or people who have bid on auctions in the past.
