What coin would you purchase if you were to spend between $200. $300. that would maintain its value in the short term, and increase in value in the long term.

    a vf 14-d cent? I think XF's are 600+, but vf's still reasonable.

    Pre-1865 PCGS AU53-58 Philadelphia no motto half eagles - very underrated in my opinion and can be had in this price range and grade.
