AKA sleepy hollow. You can check in about once a month and you won't miss much, except for maybe the latest terrible thing PCGS and/or David Hall has done.
Across the street refers to east side of USA (NGC) and West side of USA(PCGS). Now lets not get into the gansta rappers type east side verse west side feud.
It's used on the NGC board too referring to over here. I just checked and there are 134 users logged in here. Go to the NGC board and there ain't nothing going on. I left there and rarely post there anymore. In fact I'm not going to post there anymore. It's night and day. And it's not NGC vs PCGS. It's not NGC staff vs PCGS staff either. The NGC staff on their boards are always helpful and willing to answer questions as the PCGS staff is here. In short, small "clique" of NGC board members made this newbie feel very unwelcome.
"across the street" refers to NGC's coin forum. As many have noted, "sleepy hollow" is an apt description of their coin board....complete with crickets chirping.
