    Good scheme indeed...

I read a report online that said $2 billion is lost due to phishes and scams like these. It's amazing that people who might otherwise be competent in life leave their frontal lobe behind when reading these things.

Extremely brave or otherwise to open an email from no known contact! I delete as fast as I can and don't even think about opening them. No telling what spam mail virus is waiting for me!

PS: what was their account again?

Buy Norton and you don't have to worry about any viruses. Set it on auto-protect!image

BTW, I was just telling Electric Eye that I've been contacted by everyone from alleged retiring bankers from EcoBank

in Lome Togo to lawyers in Lome Togo to royalty (Bwahahaha) to exchange students. They are all scams.

I had two different, very wealthy family members(distant relatives bearing the sam last Name) die in very real accidents. The lawyers and retiring bank official all wanted me to stand as next of kin as none could be found... and for my services I would get

roughly 4 million in each case. One even gave me all the answers. I contacted the real Ecobank and raise hell with the real VP and don't you know , HE was in on it too. I'm saying I went to the real EcoBank and alerted them to this alleged scam and they

knew of it all. Dammmmmm man. This stuff scares me! The Bank VP (the real one I wrot to) knew the one that contacted me

and when I provided all the right answers that was it. My insides were screaming, "DON'T DO IT". Well, I listened and to this day I'm still not sure I did the right thing. Basically, my perspective is I wanted no part of something that really wasn't mine.
HMMMM, I'll never know! Scary stuff man!

  • I used to think it was as simple as leaving Norton running but the last virus actually shut sown my Norton. It's just so evil!!!!!image

I had to take Norton out of my computer. As soon as I installed the 2004 version, everything kept getting slower and slower. Computer guy took it out and put in Zone Alarm. He showed me to a Anti 2004 Norton website that had a whole bunch of horror stories on the 2004 version. Apparently with some computers, Norton 2004 starts treating everything coming and going as suspicious and finally locks up.
  • Are they trying to say that a real business person from Russia is unable to grasp proper English grammar? Are we supposed to believe it came from another country just because the English is bad? Insulting.

image That's it for my soapbox.

thats because your so called pc guy doesnt know much about computing. The program needs paramiters setup, not just install and run at default. Zone Alarm even needs its paramiters set or at default you cannot even reach the web. Watch out for these backyard know-it-alls, sometimes they do more damage than the virus or rogure prgrams themselves

    HOW ABOUT THIS SCAM----

Hi my dear, Its Tanya. How are you??? I to want to inform you, that I have problems with mine e-mail. There constantly there are preventive works and sometimes letters do not come. I to want to tell you, that when you send me letters and they come back to you back do not worry. Send to me them once again and they necessarily will reach me. I hope, that you could understand me. Weather in Volgograd opposite, goes Rain though in the street it is warm. I am already constant to think About you. It is very interesting to me to know about you more. To know as passes your day??? It is pleasant for me to receive and read your letters each day. I shall wait for the letter from you. Yours Tanya.
