I just heard them say on sportcenter that Jim Thome has more homers than anybody else since the start of the 2002 season.. (he's tied w/Arod @ 118)..

Yeah, it seems like every time I watch Sportscenter or Baseball Tonight the guy is hitting one out. There was an interesting article about him in ESPN Magazine a couple of issues ago - said he hardly lifts weights or buys into the supplement scene; he just "country strong."

I live in Kansas- You know great farm country.. We called them "tractor jocks".. Guys who came out of the womb as big as a freight train. Spend there entire life on a tractor and boy were they mean! I guess it was from spending all that time on a tractor!

Jim Thome is underappreciated IMO - wouldn't mind seeing his RC soar! Might even be worth grading.

Thome is very underrated. I bet if you asked 10 people to name the person with more HR's since '02, 9 would say Bonds.
