So..... Out of the blue...Nolan Ryan shows up at my front door..........Hmmmmmmm ????????????

Just a special thanks for CON40 (Keith) for sharing an oddball Nolan Ryan card with me...And it came to me totally unannounced!!! Opened the mail today..and there it was!!!

It's a 1993 Kraft Singles Nolan Ryan card #13.

Looks kinda' like a 64 stand up, with a little pull tab coming out of the top. I'm half way afraid to pull that little tab thingie, as it might fa_t or something..imageimageimageimageimageimage...

Anyway... It was a very nice gift, for a guy that is WAY down on the Ryan Registry...

    Keith's a great guy , has gifted me several cards. There are a lot of others on here too, we just don't hear enough about this kind of thing.

    I'm too have been anointed by the Don with a PSA 9 1990 Leaf, a card which I now have in 10. Needless to say, it will slip out to the next registrant i ship a few cards to. Maybe it could become like the horse's head. You just wake up one morning, and there it is in bed with you. Creepy.

    So now Don, I ask you for this, on the day of your daughter's wedding:

    Side note - hooray for federal loans. I am back in the registry to stay, but for the 2 hours or so I was considering getting out I went a little overboard. Needless to say, it will be ramen and water for a little while, and the cards will come sporadically, but it will be GAME ON as soon as the USMC starts footing the bill. I can't wait- no rent, no food bills, and 6 month carrier deployments where I have no other place to waste my money.
