Here's another before it goes to ebay at a higher price tonight.
1923 VAM-1A Whisker Jaw Peace dollar graded MS-63 by NGC. This is a TOP 50 Peace dollar variety and VERY hard to find 100% blast white. This coin would make a great addition to any high grade Peace dollar VAM collection. NGC has holdered only 8 of these coins to date.
If you are new to Peace dollar VAM collecting, pick up the book “The official Guide to the Top 50 Peace Dollar Varieties” written by Jeff Oxman & David Close and learn about these rare and valuable coins. As of one month ago, PCGS has started recognizing and slabbing Peace dollar VAM’s. It won’t be long until these very low mintage, rare and desirable coins are included in registry sets.
