This Contemporary Commemorative Looks Like Play Money

Finding Modern Commemoratives that circulated or, more than likely, were pocket good luck charms is tough. This first one, graded out about ten years ago by PCGS, looks like it's made out of pot metal instead of silver, and the design, with worn devices, looks like play money. The character of some coins changes from Uncirculated to circulated as the second sample, graded by ANACS, proves out.
Edited to add: The PCGS coin is NOT going into a Registry! image

Some coins get better looking as they age and wear. The SOL is certainly not among them.

Cool commem. On the second one, Liberty's face looks like a space alien!
