Are there really only 3600 packs of UD Exquisite?

I've seen information that there are only 1200 cases and hence 3600 packs of Exquisite in total production. Does anyone know if this is true? I don't have a checklist in front of me, but if you do the math with all the rookie patches with the 5 stars at #/99 and the rest of the Rookies at #/225, does it come out to about 3600? Also, are master distributor cases larger than just three packs? Just wondering if anyone knows for sure or if this production number is a fictional one that some ebay wholesaler made up to boost product interest?

If there are only 3600 packs, and at the rate people are busting them, how many unopened packs will be left in 6 months? In one year? In 10 years?

Well, the base cards are inserted 1/box no more than 2/box. There are 76 base cards and 71 are numbred out of 225, and 5 are out of 99. Based on that "fuzzy" logic, I think there must be about 8000 boxes. Wouldn't it?

Well 225 * 71 = 15975
Add another 495 for 5 cards #/99, and you have 16,470.

If you have 2 per box, cut that in half, 8235. So somewhere between 11,000-13,000 packs would be my guess if base card seeding is not exactly 1 or 2 per box. I wonder what UD's profit on this product is.

Wouldn't the best way be to just add the number of rookies since there is one true RC per pack? Usually it's one Rc and one regular card, so 2 per pack. How many RC's are there #'d to 225? Add the 5 x 99 and that should be about the number of packs, right?

Since every card is numbered it seems like someone could come up with a total # of cards produced.
