Delivery Status Notification (Failure)

i just sent the high bidder on one of my auctions an email with payment info, and it was returned as undeliverable. i tried it again, no same thing. i use yahoo, and the seller uses hotmail. i'm not sure if this caused the problem or not.

anyone know of another way i can contact the buyer?

  • I'd wait for the person to contact you, give him like 2 or 3 days, or you should be able to find his phone number with current address and notify him that way. If the number is invalid, I'd contact ebay and ebay will boot him off. Sometimes it's just that they moved and forgot to update their contact info.

You can request any ebayer's contact information as long as he/she is involved in a transaction with you.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, once ebay emails you this person's contact information, then give the guy a call.
  • thanks, i emailed him from my hotmail acct and i think it worked. i guess there are firewalls between yahoo and hotmail

Hotmail has a low (2mb) amount of storage on their free accounts too. If you get jokes and pictures emailed you , the storage can fill up in a hurry and hotmail won't deliver until some of the saved emails are deleted.
