Help with 1954 Aaron RC***SCAN***

OK Guys, I need professional help.. 1) Does it look real? 2) What's it worth? 3) What would it grade?

I live in a one horse town and some guy opened a new card shop. He has this card for sale. I made him scan it and email to me and I need your help. Anything would be appreciated..

Looks like a pretty bad factory cut job--or, heaven forbid, a post-factory cut job. If not trimmed, I'm guessing a PSA 3 or 4--PSA 5 max.

The tint seems kinda weird, but that may just be the yellowish look that you get with some scanners. The diamond cut seems natural, though. I'd say a PSA 4, which is probably about a $350-400 card, based on SMR at least. Somone who more closely follows Aaron cards and/or '54s could probably give you a better idea of its value.

The Hank Aaron is clearly a reprint. The image is grainier than on an original 1954 Aaron (lost resolution due to reproduction), the left side is wavy (a result of pasting two layers together and imprecise cutting), and a dirt-like substance has been smeared near the edges and corners to create an aged effect (note: some whiteness is still present near the lower left corner -- a typical sign of a recently produced card).

Ranch....that could also happen if you try and scratch a dirty edge (finger nail, metal object etc) Usually it damages the edge and shows up whiter than the other parts of the edge. As for the card being legit or not, I have no idea...don't know that year. I'd ask the opinion of some collectors from that year. Since that card is probably out of your price range ranchy I wouldn't value your opinion that much (probably read the info off some BMW website anyways).
