How to determine reprints/counterfeits - Good Info

This is a rehash from another board and I thought I would post the link for everyone. Especially pertinent considering the amount of counterfeits we've seen & discussed in the last few weeks.

I apologize if this is a repost that you have all seen before.

I have posted this link on many occasions but it is never too much to review. Like for those who purchase a lot of raw material, the instruments we use is important. I had posted my first look at different magnifiers that are available. The first one I reviewed was the linen tester - extremely helpful in determining centering - especially if you are grading a lot of cards. I will be posting next on the lighted microscope that I purchased - again very good for the autograph people and those who purchase a lot of raw that may be reprints - the cycleback article is real good for looking at different inks and what to look for in vintage v. modern printing.
