Set Registry Opinions Needed..PSA 9 OC or leave ungraded?

I need as many opinions as possible..

I'm putting together a 1999 Bowman Gold Refractor set. Many of the first series stars are off-centered, not just a few but for some, all 25 made.

My question is, should I get them graded for my registry set and get PSA 8 or 9 OC's or leave them ungraded??

well....you can't COMPLETE your registry set until you have all graded ones...
    but go for 8's not 9 oc's

1967and 1973 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. Once had the #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends.
Looking for oddball Norm Cash and Cleon Jones stuff, and 1956 team cards

If you ask for no qualifiers, you may end up with a seven. The centering requirements for 8s and 9s are awfully similar. I'd take the 9 o/c, versus asking for nq.
Working on 1969 through 1975 Basketball.
  • I say take the o/c on a set that is tough for centering if you really want to do the Set Reg. If the set is difficult for centering it will still be tough for others to do aswell and would basically still give you a great shot at the best all time set.
