Recent 1980 Pepsi proofs from Topps Vault

Will PSA or SGC grade these? They are two seperate cards, front and back.

As far as I know, PSA will not grade any Proof cards. Not sure about SGC.

I was considering having PSA or GAI encapsulate my example, once I receive it, as "Authentic". They often will do it if a card is rare enough or warrants such an encapsulation. They have done it with trimmed Cobb cards, some sheet-cut vintage cards, even some 1952 Mantles. I figure that I can ask them and see what happens. The worse they can do is say no... I certainly haven't seen any post-1970 cards in Authentic holders, except for cards like Hostess, etc. that were not cut to PSA's size parameters. I figure that I'm such a goofball - that it would be better to have the Pepsi proof in a holder than not (although it can stay in a topdown/screwdown pretty easily, I imagine). But given the very rare nature of the Pepsi issue, I can make a compelling argument for such a designation. The bottom line is, 24 years later, after much asking around, I have only found a single collector who owns a signle original example from this set. I'm quite surprised the proofs haven't, generally, sold for more - they are neat, oddball, and a perfect unique addition for any player or oddball or type collector.

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

I must have missed something - What do these cards look like? Is there a list of all the cards?

    MS-

I've seen PSA encapsulate a picture of a dealer's newborn baby...so I would think if you contacted the right person...they should be able to take care of you.
