Looks like eSnipe took tonight off

I swear, this is the last time I will post this, but why don't you guys use another service. I have used Just Snipe for about 2 years now with only a handful of problems. $5 per month - unlimited snipes - I snipe every auction at least twice in case one happens to fail. Since I've been doing this, I've never had a problem. Tell them I sent you - maybe they'll throw me a bone! image

all mine went thru, about 640pm pdt. Just wish the guy that beat me on 3 of 4 had used Dan's server!
Nothing ticks me off more than my snipe not going, and the card going way low. My sympathies.

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

Thanks Virtualizard. I going to look into that service. eSnipe appears to be working now, but that doesn't do me any good on those auctions.

    I use JUSTSNIPE too!
Overall they are pretty good, but they aren't 100% - I've been shut out a few times since joining...jay

esnipe worked fine for me tonight. However, a couple of days ago I lost a key card when esnipe did not work.

I thought it was just me...but yes, esnipe was awful tonight. It worked great on the bids I saved during the day, but I could not log in at all for a lot of the evening.

    Jay,

Just Snipe has been 100% for me over the past year or more. You just have to place more than one snipe on each auction. It worked on that Mantle card I won from you the other day! image

    JEB - Are you serious!?!
To avoid problems you should snipe each lot more then once?

Thanks for the bids on the '60 Mantle PSA-8, it was shipped out today. Funny thing though, I was leaning over my toilet and...
oh no! that was someone elses postimage ...jay
  • No Jay,
those are PSA 10's not those lowly PSA 8's.
Why would anybody ever carry one of those around the house.

  • Did any one else notice that it takes an internet corporation to even slow down "Markelmania".
They might have slowed it down but "Markelmania" is back runnin' wild again.

FUZZ - I always figure a slab is a slab, be it a 4, 6, 8 or 10 - and w/ all the calcium & lime in my water, it would disolve on contact anyway image ...jay
  • I've almost never had a problem with auctionsniper.com the past 2-3 years. Pretty simple to use and manage as well.

    Overall, eSnipe is very reliable.

When I'm bidding on a card that I've just "got to have",
I put in my eSnipe bid, AND enter a manual bid at the last minute "just to make sure".

I missed one last night too - didn't set my snipe until 19 minutes before closing (another impulse buy!) In the light of morning I'm actually glad it didn't go through - another example of e-snipe doing for me what I couldn't do for myself.image

Esnipe screwed me tonight also. The bid went in several hours before the auction closed. This is the first time I've had a problem with them.

1967and 1973 Topps baseball wantlists (any condition) welcome. Once had the #14 ATF 1967 set. Yet another collector like skylaneflyer, gimel1 who made it to the completion of 1967 only to need the money more than the company of 609 close friends.
Looking for oddball Norm Cash and Cleon Jones stuff, and 1956 team cards
