Type sets - Proof, business strike or both?

Now that some of the type sets are being weighted should their be a segregation of business strike sets from set containing Proofs. I know several type collectors who have both, however, I have been focusing on the business strike only aspect for my type set. Since the majority of all coins minted are business strikes I thought it was a nice way to approach the collection. I now see I can be penalized by not having a proof (loss of bonus points for DC etc..).
Most series are broken into the the two categories and I was wondering if it should be more segregated like business strikes and another all encompassing.
Any Thoughts?

A number of type sets allow only mint state or proof coins, and some allow both. I believe PCGS does a good job of providing sets which allow collectors to show their coins the way they prefer to collect them.
Although I prefer mint state coins, I have a couple of combined type sets which enable me to show off some of my nice proof coins too. It does seem that proof coins receive the edge in some of the combined sets, with respect to CA and DC bonuses. It only effects you, though, if you're attempting to be #1.
In the end, I collect to have fun, as I believe most others do. It's nice to compare your set with other sets. Since there isn't a perfect way to compare CS and PR in the same set, we have to accept the way it's done.
I recently suggested a change to one of the Type Sets. The change was made. It's up to us (the collectors) to help shape and maintain the system
