Northland Dime registry set goes 100%

Way to go for building one of the nicest registry sets to reach 100%. This set is a perfectly matched MS67 from top to bottom. It makes me proud just to look at it. I know the owner is SUPER proud of the work that went into this beauty. imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage

Congrats! I sure it was a whole bunch of hard work to complete a set all in the same grade!

Congratulations. Lots of tough coins there.

That '69 has always proved especially tough for me. Even in MS-65 it can be elusive.

Dwight (Northland Roosevet set) wanted me to post this e-mail from him on the boards.

    Hi Nick,
I was reading the PCGS message board. Thanks for the congrats and all
your help in completing my set. I do thank all the others as well. I
have not been able to get signed up to post on the board or I would
thank them there. It has been a challenging and now rewarding
experience to be able to reach a goal that has been just short of three
    years in attaining. Dwight

Nick I suspect you may have helped Dwight with his last two coins. I also think you need a pat on the back for giving him a chance to finish his set. (if that is the fact) I truly think Dwight did a super job finding all those 67's. And it had to be hard, over the years, resisting the urge to insert another grade just to finish the set. A tip of the hat to both of you. image

Dan, Dwight made 2 1969 Roosies in MS67 to finish his set. I helped him out with the 1970 MS67.
I have offered him lower grade coins to fill in some holes but he refused to buy any lower quality then
MS67 for his set. Dwight helped me more with my set then I helped him with his set. He sold me a few
big coins including the 1974D MS67FB pop 1/0 that he made. Dwight is always eager to help his fellow
collector, His second 69P went to another registry set collector and we will see another set completed
    real soon thanks to Dwight.

Dwight is first class through and through.

  • Hi, I got my wife to help me get registered to post on this board. I thought her help would be appropriate as she has been very patient while I've spent hours and a few dollars in building my set. Thanks to all for the nice compliments regarding my set. As I mentioned in an e-mail to Nick, it has been a rewarding experience. I've met some nice people while building this set, including Nick, Craig, Rick, Paul and others. It's people like this which makes a hobby like this a lot of fun. Special thanks to Nick for his help with both my silver and clad sets and also to Craig for his help with my silver set. Two classy guys...........

Nice set! All ms67! none lower or higher! Cool! Also 101% complete. That 82 no P should not be part of the set. That is obviously an error or variety. Why'd they put that in?

So Dwight, let me ask, what is your next set? image

It looks like Dwight's now working on upgrades, He just added the 1995-D MS67FB pop 1/0, the only
95-D graded FB. Nice score Dwight.

I noticed that coin was listed at the start of the pop list, not down where it's supposed to be. Guess next time they redo the list it will go to it's proper place. Anyway I can't think of a better place for that coin than in your all 67 set. May more FB's find their way into their great company...image
