*WANTED* Better date gem rainbow toned Morgans !!!!

** TOP DOLLAR PAID FOR THE BEST COINS **

OK I know there's a bunch of you on here who share my love of rainbow-toned Morgan dollars !!!! Most folks collect them by color, and are less concerned about date or grade. So it wouldn't be uncommon for one collector to have six or eight different examples of say, 1881-S or 1883-O. I am going about it a little differently, trying to put together a set of as many dates and mintmarks as I can find that meet these criteria:

1) PCGS-certified only
2) Graded MS65 thru MS67 only
3) Must have bright or very attractive multi-colored toning on the obverse
4) Toning should cover a substantial portion, or all, or obverse
5) Reverse may be white or toned, but should be of quality consistent with the grade
6) Strong strike and luster are a plus; looking for vibrancy and eye appeal !!!

Now I know that if you have coins like that, you probably want to keep them !!! However, if you might consider selling any coins meeting these criteria, please PM me.

** TOP DOLLAR PAID FOR THE BEST COINS **

The very common dates are already covered, but I will always consider an exceptional example. Some of you have already offered me a few coins, and I appreciate that. Please offer more !!!!!!

Thanks & best,
Sunnywood

Sunnywood, you are asking for coin's that are exceptionally tough to find. Guy's like Toned Dollars have been scouring the market for coins like this for some time now.

roadrunner is correct, they are tough. Very tough in fact. I need 22 out of a possible 107 to complete my set. You notice I did not say finish, for I think I'll never finish it to my complete satisfaction. Every date and mint mark in "A" quality color is surely a life long pursuit.

    Hi guys,

Yes, of course I know these coins are very tough to find !!!!! If it was an easy set, I wouldn't bother with it !!!! And, if you don't ask, then surely you won't get anywhere. Besides, maybe guys like TonedDollars might have a nice duplicate now & again ... it never hurts to remind folks what you're looking for.

I get so bored with white widget Morgans, but I love the toners ... funny thing is, there are a number of major dealers who always tout pretty toned coins with color. But when it comes to Morgans, they only carry white coins. Go figure. I like to have my cake & eat it too. Morgans, with beautiful colorful toning !!!

After collecting series that were impossibly difficult with vvery low pops, the Morgans are refreshing. At least there's a LOT of them to look at, even if only 1% or so have the color I want !!

Oh, and I forgot to add, I am especially hot for colorful CC's in PCGS gem grades. How's THAT for tough to find. They are in way too much demand !!! Maybe someday I could convince GSAGUY to actually sell me something !!!

    Best,
    Sunnywood

Good luck with GSAGUY, you have to get in line for some of those babies. I may have something for you, I'll let you know in a few days. The coin is being looked at by another potential buyer as we speak.
