And while we're on this topic, do you know if PSA will grade or slab one with the back removed? I got a nice deal on an Alexander without back recently.

I had ingrown toe-nails as a young unarmed dyslexic hamburger eating Dutchman.
I had to get them surgically remediated, it was not much fun and I had to walk around with the toes of my wooden shoes cut out. The surgeon did a real chop job, his name was Dr. Moser and the resulting aesthetics of my toe-nails are pretty ugly and I will show them as proof to anyone who presents me with a copy of the fabled MW Rosemont police report at the National. While I was laid up, I was looking through my older brother's baseball cards and came across some wierd looking stand-up do-hickeys with orange backgrounds, I thought I would relieve my boredom by playing a fantasy game with them and I proceeded to punch them out and tear off the background pieces, the only one I kept intact was Rizzuto.......because I had always heard that Yankee shortstops were over-rated.

Nick - thanks man. I only have picked up the Larry Doby Current all-stars card just last month and it should grade a PSA 2. Have not been able to pick up any other "Current" - aka "major league" - all stars.

As for Connie Macks - I now have 5 different - 1 ungraded but not for long.
