reholder cost question

I want to submit some cards for grading. I also want to have a card reholdered. I fill out one submission form for the cards and one submission form for the reholder. But the reholder must be returned shipped separately? So to reholder one card costs (assuming you ship it in with another submission) $5 and $11.50 (for return shipping) = $16.50? PSA does not ship the reholder back with another submission?

    no they will not.
    it will ship separately
unless you ship several for reholder,
then they will ship all of those together
    which will save you some.

or go to a major show where they can do it for you there.

Yeah, PSA really has us by short and curlies on the postage thing. But they're the only game in town if you want your card in a PSA holder!

Seriously, if you have a FedEx account you can save some if you submit to PSA regularly.

I submitted a single card for reholdering with another submission (on a separate invoice), and apparently it shipped yesterday by itself. I didn't pay any extra postage for it. We shall see how it turns out.

Don't use Fedex for any packages worth $500 or more, that is their liability limit concerning sportscards. Check out the link in my sig line. They rarely lose a package, but things do happen and I would hate to lose a couple grand because I saved a few bucks in shipping.
