1860 Farthing Question

Was there a difference in the metal (bronze) used to mint the 1860 GB farthing? I got a group of about 20 farthings from 1860-1901 and noticed that the 1860 looks quite a bit more yellow than the others. It's not bright like brass, but is definately a different hue than the others, which look like old copper.
