2004 Topps Finest Error?

Hello - Post Number 2 for me - this seems like an interesting message board...

I am collecting 2004 Topps Finest cards, and trying to pull together a set...

In noticed that Curt Schilling's Card #52 - has 2003 stats and lists his team as "Red Sox" instead of Diamondbacks. Sexson #18 also has Diamondbacks instead of Brewers.

A-Rod, Tejada, Maddux, Javy Lopez, Vlad, Batista, Clemens, Javy Vazquez, Colon, Kevin Brown, Sheffield are all correct.

Anyone understand these "errors" - are they fixed in later batches of the cards??? Can't be related to timing...?

Thanks - GAME7Fan

Chances of them being corrected are probably nil. For sets like Finest, they probably just printed them all up and closed the book on it, no later print runs where they correct them. So you've got a couple UERs (Uncorrected Errors) that will have very little impact on the price. But keep checking here or in the news section of Beckett.com as there's always the chance that they are "variations" like Topps has included in some of their sets in the past few years. I doubt it, though.
