Who is familiar with B-18 blankets? I would appreicate some help.

I came across 2 1914 blankets which I was told were color variants? I was hoping someone could help me out, maybe let me know if they are color variants and maybe a value on them.

Thanks in advance.

I have the Krause catalog at home and can check after work. I think that lists the variations. One thing, who is the player on the top blanket?
    Thanks,

  • The top is Otto Lowell (Moonie) Miller, Brooklyn, National League.

Bottom is John Barney (Dots) Miller, St. Louis, National League.

    Thanks

The top one is the Otto Miller blue infield variation and lists for between $9 in VG and $30 in NM. I am not certain how much the cut affects the grading of the blanket at the bottom. The bottom one is the Dots Miller yellow pennants addition which is the rarer version and books between $34 in VG and $115 in NM. I only own one blanket from the set Miller Huggins, and I bought it a long while ago. Based on your scans in looks like the Dots Miller except the middle is devoid of any stains. I believe I paid the EXMT guide price at the time.
Perhaps someone who collects them or knows more about how they were cut can tell you about the condition and price.
