PSA June Special - kinda comical

Just something I noticed when the special box popped up on PSA website... advertising specialists at work here. Let's offer a $10 grading special, and show a picture of a card worth half the cost of even getting it graded. 89T traded Ryan in PSA 9, SMR $5. Not that anyone pays that close of attention...

Caveat emptor and idiot emptor for submitting such a card image
Proud of my 16x20 autographed and framed collection - all signed in person. Not big on modern - I'm stuck in the past!
  • They did something similar with the last pre-54 commons special by showing cards of Duke Snider and Phil Rizzuto and someone else. Obviously not commons. I wonder if they will get rid of the picture of Kurt Warner on the Set Registry detailed page.

Of course, not. That would be savant emptor.

During the last special, there was a clause that TallBoy cards were excluded. In the pictures, there was a 1964 TallBoy hockey card included. Not everyone reads the fine print...I wonder if many were submitted?
