    Tom,

Were you expecting a 9 on the Gilbert?

I care. But I must say I was hoping for a slew of hockey cards.

Well at least you were not devastated by your results, I meen it sounds like you prepared yourself. Kinda like I did, quick story...Last week I went to a show and thumbed through about 300 1956 topps baseball cards and picked out about twenty and then took about eleven of them and figured they would get a shot at a 7 for my registry set....I put them all back and decided it was not worth the let down when they would probably get all six for grades. I just dont have the nads to submit raw cards anymore...forget about trying to cross gai or scg. I have done this about five or six times with about forty cards and never got what I was looking for. I figure I need to get more educated about grading or just stick to buying already graded cards that I need. It is tuff bussines, anyways good luck with your collecting.

Great job. Sorry about the Berra and Mac cards.

Nope. I actually thought a 7 was a possibility. There was some chipping across the top. I think the only reason it got an 8 was because the blue borders make the issue so condition sensitive. Outside of the chipping it's a sharp card.

    yawie,

There's a vintage hockey order coming soon so stay tuned. Low grade stuff but but it includes C56's and C55's.
