Should I be blocking this second place bidder?

Always buying high grade Mike Schmidt and Steve Carlton cards!!!

  • Well, the price difference between a PSA 8 and 9 is about $6500. If this card gets a trim job, or passes over to his friends at SGC he'll make some good money. I think in your mind you already know the answer..

My gut tells me he's just bottom feeding... but it's not a bad idea to block him anyway. FYI: I am watching this auction!

I did, so he used another id to win the auction. I refunded his money, and now he keeps calling me. He'll pay, you just have to decide if he's the type of person you want to deal with.

Too bad there's no way to look up an eBay user's various ID's so you can block them all. I sure wouldn't want to contribute to the creeping ooze of disrepute that guys like Moser and Schwartz afflict upon our hobby. We can't stop them, but we can at least make it a little less easy.

Browntoni - You have 20 NEGS!

Wow...who are we allowing to cast stones around here??

I would block you both from my auctions.

    Carew-
Browntoni has bid in my auctions for over a year, and I would give him nothing short of 5 stars. Sometimes on bad feedback you have to consider the source.
