He might not be happy .... If you put that on Ebay, obviously with the "skillifully altered" clause, you would have a lot of bids ...

Interesting. Yes they are popular. Even a lot of non-collectors in the UK know about this date. When I had my bag searched by security at Gatwick, the guy saw the '37 proof set I had in the bag and remarked that it was a shame I didn't have a 1933 along with it.

Yep. That's also true.

I used MGI Photosuite.

Even tweaked a few pixels so the threes would be very slightly different if you zoomed in.
When you see that second 3 in person, it looks an awful lot like a 5.
