New nickels in circulation....

Haven't kept up with the boards but just got a new nickel in change today. It feels lighter than nickels of the past. Have they been out for a while now?

Through the mint, yes, in circulation, I haven't seen any yet.

They've been out for several months, but hardly anyone has seen any. I received 2 in change while in Nashville on business. That's all I've seen.

California has always been a centre for progressive thinking, some good, some not so good. The gold coinage produced...definitely good! I haven't seen any new nickels here in VA, except for the ones in my home in the mint wrap.

I've received a few in the change from the cafeteria at work (Pentagon). I haven't seen too many any place else.

They are in the Orlando, FL area.

Of course we have visitors from all over so they weren't necessarily distributed here.

I have gotten a lot of them in change while on business trips this year. So far, Florida and Atlanta have been the best places to find them.
