<< <i>It is probably a scam to get your user info. Ingore email and DO NOT CLICK anything in it. Just in case go to PayPal and change your password. >>
Also forward it to spoof@paypal.com. In the very, very unlikely event that it is not a fake message, they will notify you that it is real, and what to do about it.

Paypal is conducting a random security check and your account has been selected. Please update the following information so we may up date your account. It asks for your credit card number, bank account number, the CV numbers on the back of your credit card and the PIN number for the card.
When it asked for this info I didn't give it. Yes, I clicked the link but did not provide any of the info asked. I copied all the info and sent it to paypal and changed my password.
I have a firewall and all my virus programs are up dated so I am not worried about that. I have gotten a similar email like this before and just blew it off. This one was the best on yet because it look more authentic than any of the others I've seen.

I got the same email and deleted it.
NEVER respond to any emails from PayPal or eBay. That's my policy.
They have my contact information, so if they need me, they can send me something via snailmail or call me on the telephone (though now that I think of it, I'm not sure how I would verify a telephone call, either.)
