Have you checked out coppercoins.com? He is a board member here with a great site - if he doesn't have a pic, then I don't know where?

I tried coppercoins.com. He didnt have a pic of the 43-P DDO-1. The pic in the heritage auction is of a 43-D. I didnt think to look there. I'm going to go look for the P now.

    Thanks,

I checked Heritage... doesnt look like they've ever sold one. I've pretty much decided that the 43 is machine doubling. However, there is an ever so thin line on the right side of the nine. Also, there's some faint lines around some of the letters in "IN GOD WE TRUST."

BTW... do you know how hard it is to take a pic through a loop?

It's hard to tell with the pictures. Go to Toys R Us and get a Digital Blue QX3+ Microscope. It's supposed to be a kids' toy, but lets you take magnified digital pictures at either 10x, 60x, or 200x. It connects to the computer and allows you to see it on the screen - no more bending over holding magnifying glasses.
