Standards for DMPL Morgans - the past vs. now

Here's a DMPL Morgan up for auction at Heritage:
1882-CC MS65 DMPL
It's in an older slab. The coin appears kind of milky in the fields, although you can't always tell from a scan.
Do you think that this coin would make DMPL today? Has PCGS changed their standards over the years for DMPL Morgans?

Their coins look a great deal different in hand. That dmpl probably looks much better in person.
I believe years ago there were more PL Morgans in DMPL holders.

My dealer recently aquired 10 CC DMPLs and I was estatic to get the first shot at looking through them. They were all in the old PCGS holders, and were not entirely impressive. We both agreed that more than half of them would likely garner a PL grade if resubmitted.
Perhaps the price is just too steep.
