I picked this up in a proof set at a local show today. I think it may be the first AH I've found, but I'm looking for some validation...

Not missing, truncated. It can appear to varying degrees on these. It just won't be full.

What's funny about that is that the truncated serif was what I used to identify it. The I looks much more defined in the picture due to the lighting. Sorry to throw you for a loop! Here's a close-up from a different angle:
