Click the little arrow thing next to payment status. It's one of the options in the drop-down.

I looked there first, Russ, and it's not there. All I have as choices are:
    Sell Similar
    Mark Paid
    Print Shipping Label
    Leave Feedback
    Mark Shipped
    Second Chance Offer
    Relist

Has it been three full days since auction end? It won't appear until it has been.

Aha! Still a few hours from a full 3 days.

    Question:

Not 3 full days and yet considered a "deadbeat" bidder?
Was this an "instant" auction or something?

I can imagine some people having a life and not paying for a few days...or sending it in mail and maybe not following up.

What am I missing since even Brazillians have weekends and lives and may not jump right up to pay for an auction.........?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

I hate it when buyers wait to pay, and yes, 3 days is too long to wait. They know they bought something and payment should be made, simple as that. At the very least, they should sent an email stating when they plan to pay.

Man, if the guy's in BRAZIL maybe you should give him a little extra time? I mean, I agree not even three days and the guy's a deadbeat?

    Barry,

    Man, chill!
I think a friendly reminder after 3 days might be OK (still seems too soon, especially if 2 of those days are Saturday & Sunday), but you need an attitude change.
To call this guy a 'deadbeat' is just too muchimage
How do you know he hasn't sent payment, just hasn't told you?

You guys are missing the point. All I ask the bidder in my email is to RESPOND to the email. Is that too much to ask for 3 days, especially when he's been bidding on other items in the interim? Also, in this case, the guy does have a bunch of negs and neutrals for non-payment. so I was getting concerned. It's nice of you guys to offer net 30 terms image

I'd rather sell to the second high bidder, for $1 less, as he's in the US. Maybe I'm just looking for excuses...

You go get 'em Barry! File the darn reminder as soon as you can, and then participate in the ultra slow Ebay process of dealing with the deadbeats.

The transaction MAY turn out to be fine, but no harm in starting the process off promptly.

I'm dealing with one now. Nothing more than a pain in the arse!

Wait a week, and then label the buyer a "deadbeat". Right now he or she is just a trainee. image

...............and now you know the complete story.

With the additional info I WOULD send out payment reminder, then a NPB ASAP.
If he already has neutrals/negs because of this, this should be a warning flag.

Sometimes I wait paying if I am bidding on more items from the same seller if those other items close in a few days, trying to save on shipping.

Mailing to a country outside the U.S. may also be a problem, I am dealing that right now on a trade with a member from the Netherlands.

If I had the option, offer it to the runner-up ASAP, save yourself from the headache....assuming (s)he is a good buyer....
