How many of you have one of the special 2000 cherrio cents?

In the year 2000, cheerios released a package with cellulite sealed(Similiar to the way the first mint sets were) , cents. They were from the US mint, and it said on the package: "First 10,000,000 minted."

I got one of these, and I think they're so cool! I still have it. I'm temped to open it up, because I was wondering on the other side of the coin (Where the coins side is stuck on the paper) , has perhaps toned.

Also, anyone got one of the special ones with the Sac dollars in them? Please post pics if you got one!

I have a Cheerios Lincoln. I heard that ANACS has slabbed with Cheerios on the label.

The "Cheerios Dollars" have been few and far between. My suspicion is that many were received in the boxes by children or adults that don't collect coins. They just took the coins from the package and spent them. The few I've seen on eBay have been going in the $130 range. There is a photo of one on my website. LINK

I have one of the cents, still in the original packaging. I have no idea why people would want to slab these. What makes them interesting IS the original packaging.

I have 3 or maybe 4 tucked away, opened and folded. I've been around classic cars, musclecars and Corvettes and I find that that the right paperwork could up the price of a car so why not coins or anyother collectable, so applying that thought I also have the receipt of purchase from the local Shop-Rite,with date and time.

Just remembered that there was also a certificate available in a limited # of boxes for 100 sac's. Did anyone here get one?
