1996 P Kennedy w/doubling

Speaking of getting coins at flea markets... I picked up a 1996 Mint set at a flea market last weekend. I was looking at it today and noticed the Kennedy has doubling on the letters in the words HALF DOLLAR on the reverse. I can't find anything that says that there were any true double dies made that year for Kennedy halves so my guess is it must be machine doubling but I figured I'd ask here anyway. Has anybody ever heard of and 1996 P double die half dollars? Thanks, in advance, for any replies.

Here is a quick pic I just took of the words with the doubling. The doubling is easiest to see in the F and the D. If anyone is interested I'll try and post a better pic tomorrow. Thanks for looking.

    Looks like machine doubling.
