An associate has asked me to look into selling his 1834 Bust dime. It is in an NGC-63 older holder. The coin looks nice with outer prephirey toning and nice luster. However, the holder is severly scratched and its very hard to get a good look at the coin's obverse. As far as the variety JR-5 indicated on holder, he says its a rarer one, but I have no idea. I did not purchase the coin myself, but said I would help him try to market it for the best price.
I have some photo's included, if anyone is intrested and has an idea of what would be a fair offer, please PM me. (Please note the coin has been carried with him to a local show this weekend, so I do not have access to the coin till Tuesday, and therefore could not confirm a deal till then.

If any of you folks think I should buy it myself and send to PCGS let me know? and at what price would be fair?
