This guy needs to be stopped.

gsiesser24 current auctions of counterfeits

This is getting ridiculous - 2 fake '51 Connie Mack All-Star Babe Ruths at one time!

I have been emailing high bidders to let them know that he specializes in selling counterfeits of high-dollar cards. It seems to be helping.

But you can bid with confidence. He's a powerseller. image

Slipping in the "I'm selling it as a reprint" must be just good enough for ebay.

Scary how some people seem to be happy with paying good money for reprints.

Topps is still in business. They never licensed a reprint of those cards AFAIK. That makes the "reprint" a counterfeit. He isn't even including his "I'm selling it as a reprint" language on all his auctions anymore. image

Good point. Ebay won't touch their power sellers. Bad news.

  • They've managed to reproduce these with the finest detail! Even the OC reverse on the '67 Seaver. image

this seller has been selling reprints for at least 3 years on e-bay.
as i recall, he used to be more forthright about them being reprints.
now it's no returns and "it looks to be the real deal"........looks like he's lost his moral bearings.

This guy is notorious for selling reprints and hacked up cards. The reprints he sells, he always says something that would make a moron think they could be real, then the morons get them and initially believe they are real, only to be disappointed later when they find out the truth. He usually averages 1-2 Mantle rookies a month, as well as no shortage on Goudy Babe Ruth's. Look at the Rose he is offering, it's way short left to right, and looks a little short top to bottom also. Scum like this guy need to be banned.

Here's a list of some other shady ones that I can think of off-hand:

sanfranciscobaytrading - so shady he recently had to block his feedback.

sexwesellitall - a Sharpie autograph specialist, also likes to deal in 52 Mantle's and other fakes (several were recently removed)

sportscarddirect - found some shady grading company PCG to grade his Mantle and Ruth reprints, then sells them for thousands a piece.

The problem is that the morons buy it, try to get it graded, and then sell it to the next person thinking it's somehow fair not to disclose the true nature of the card since they too got screwed.
