1882 Large Size California National, Fr-471, Charter #4096

Just bought a new California National. It’s an 1882 Brown Back (National Bank of California at Los Angeles), Fr-471, Charter #4096. We grade the note VG. There’s a stain at the right center margin and a very minor fold tear in the stain. This note has a total population of 36 large size notes. If you are interested, the price is $750 ppd. Very Nice Jade... Is the 4096 on the reverse stamped or printed on? I see the serial on the front in RED is stamped "4096". Just wondering... Really nice.

meos, the "4096" on the reverse was added as a second printing over the primary printing. And, yes, you are correct; Indian money is indeed attractive.
