Summer vacation & the USS Republic

Does anyone know if anything is set up (museum, attraction, sight) to see, view, etc. what they have brought up from the Republic? My son's Grandfather said he wanted to take him on a vacation to see something, The conservation, the salvage, etc. of the Republic but I don't have the slighest idea of where to look for information about it. Any help?
