Soaked and Scrubbed World Coin......

Hi folks.

I still like it though. As usual it was bought just because it looks cool. After a week in olive oil and some gentle scrubbing it turned out looking like it does now. Man a bunch of crud can build up after 160 years.

    You should have seen it before the soak and scrub fest. I thought some potential was there though.

    Swiss.....I think so. It was bought just before the move here in Oregon. My books are still packed away .....image

  • Very nice. Even copper coins that are not really dirty, just slightly dull in the colour, can get a face lift if soaked in olive oil for a few days.
