Does the ANA have any friends on Capitol Hill?

Just wondering if the average collector has a voice in anything. It seems everything the government does with respect to coinage is
completely against the majority of collector's opinions. We have been screaming about having Liberty back on coinage for years yet
the presidential dollar legislation appears to be on the fast track.

Does the ANA do any lobbying to our apparently deaf politicians?

I think that by virtue of their charter they do. They're not just a random non-profit. As I recall they were given some special treatment by Congress in the area of numismatics so they should use that if they can. Apparently, though, NGC and PCGS employ lobbyists.
